new55galSALT
So i got a used D.A.S 75 gallon with a built in filtration box, stand ,Canister filter(fluval 303), Dead rock, 3 old rio 500 powerheads, and some other goodies... ive put the rock in there to get the aqua scape kinda what i want no water or sand yet but i did leak test it . Ive got some question about the built in filter system as i got it used and tried to put things where i think they go but not sure..looks like the previous owner put in his own pump and filters ill take pictures as i go ... wish me luck

new55galSALT
so no update really other than my salinity is still too low ...will that cause it to not cycle correctly?
ShawnM
no just bring it up by adding more salt mix it up in a little water first then dump in the water, just to keep any salt from settling

+brian.srock
You'd have better luck standing on a corner with a cardboard sign that reads "Saltwater addict. I just need a tub of salt. Don't judge me. "

DerrickH
Strange OF box configuration. Hope it works good. For a tank this size would think a 10g sump would be minimum. Just my .02c.
new55galSALT
its an internal filtration box not overflow so no sump required
DerrickH
yeah thats what I figured but it sure seems a little small for a 75g.

new55galSALT
If your talking about the box thats why i run tge fluval 303 as well in the cabinet .... also the guy backed out of the salt trade so i will probably be standing with the a sign near RCA ... thanks for the idea brian

new55galSALT
I got some salt i just ponied up the 30 for the used bucket it still had two un-opened baggies of salt. So for approximately 100-120 gallon salt mix for 30 isnt bad
