esacjack
So I'm currently purchasing what I thought was going to be my last expenditure before getting the new tank wet. However, I noticed the Apex Jr. went up in price from 149 to 219. I also noted the Reef Octopus NWB110 went up from 179 MSRP to 189. My mag drive pump also went up by 10 dollars. I'm wondering what is driving the price increases? Market draw?
+Capt. Obvious
increase in cost of copper, and lead time on electrical components in general, tsunamis and eathquakes have a several phase ripple effect on overseas electronics, especially memory and LCD production. In addition, the economy and the power of the dollar. and companies need to make more profit per unit on Items they know sell well
aggieMEDIC
I know the apex jr went up because they began including the display. If buying from neptune they wont sell it without the display any longer. Some places still have the ones without the display in stock but wont be getting any more in.
