+brian.srock
Progress report day. FTS posted. The black clowns I got at C4 did not make it past the 3rd and 4th day. RIP At least they got to be movie stars. Don't really think I want to put any other fish in there but I do want to definately put some more corals. I just noticed a new head on my acan and everything tests fine so no clue why I lost them.
Peter Gott
Prrrr, I'm loving the acans so much. Maybe you could have a shrimp in their if you want movement? Inverts are cooler anyways.
ckyuv
Any idea what killed the clowns? Wasn't leeching paint was it? :-)
+brian.srock
No it couldn't be leaching paint since my clean up crew is doing fine. I'm thinking either a spike/drop in salinity or they starved to death since they didn't eat anything.

+brian.srock
Mid month tank FTS. Tank is on auto pilot for the moment since all my funds went to my new 90 build. The only new piece is I added some jungle foliage next to the hatch.

Planeden
Dude you need a black tube anemone to look like the smoke lol That would be pretty neat, or just any sort of monster coming out of the hole. But I do like the guys just staring into the abyss, too. Basically, there are a lot of cool options.
+KimP
Your tank is still looking great!
+brian.srock
Big problem with the pico tank that I noticed over the weekend. My 14k LED bulb is acting up and randomly turning off and on so I had to unplug it since I didn't feel it was safe. I'll try messing with it some more and see what I can fix but my LED knowledge is next to none. If I can't get it back up then I'll place the acans in my 90 temporarily and keep the tank running in darkness until I can get a fix in place. Planeden
Ok, you may have already fixed it, but if not. Dang, that stinks. Good luck.
+brian.srock
No unfortunately I haven't fixed it. I threw a daylight CFL bulb on it this morning as a quick fix and I'll mess with the bulb if I have time tonight
Stephen
Good thing you had an extra bulb!
+brian.srock
Updated FTS and a couple other coral pics. I lost my LED bulb so I'm using a daylight CFL and it's been working. The hardest part about this tank is topoffs but everything in here has been doing great despite the salinity swings. I also took a macro vid of one of the many amphipods in the tank. +brian.srock
I no longer want to add top off water every 108 minutes so I have now begun the process of shutting this tank down. If you are interested in it shoot me a pm. Hope you enjoyed the journey.
