Funkness
Is it gonna hurt anything being inside with the larger polyps
sifuentes31
Nah the stalk will extend so that it can open fully and extend it's polyps. But it might get crowded out later down the road by the other palys..i have several of them as well.....

Timfish
I usually see tehm reffered to as Yellow Stone Polyps. They do have a pretty good sting and can cause problems with some corals. I've had them release eggs in one of my tanks: http://www.austinreefclub.com/topic/12279-polyp-porn

Timfish
Yeah, I've got a bunch slowly taking over well established purple and green watermelon mushoom colonies, turf wars in super super slow motion.
