Bannerfish
Long story short, my poor bannerfish had a horrible case of ich that i finally got under control. Sometime during the treatment, he developed some darkish spots in the middle of his dorsal fin, then the next day the skin on the fin along with the dorsal ray disappeared. He's back to normal now and back in the dt, which he seems VERY happy about. He's still cute with his little knub, but i was wondering if he's gonna be "unique" forever or if you guys think it might grow back. Thanks in advance, i think i attatched a pic of him, let me know if it doesn't work...
Timfish
You'll probably see some regrowth but don't expect it to get back to it's original length
Bannerfish
Poor guy :-( i wonder if it was the ich that did it. If i recall correctly the ich had not been visible for at least a week when i saw the dark spots. The good thing is he's alive, i really thought he wouldn't make it, he looked terrible. Aaarrrggg
Aww poor guy! My Yasha goby lost most of his dorsal fin (blasted nippy Tanaka's wrasse) but it grew back quite nicely... maybe not quite as good as the original, but pretty close! Fins take a little while to get going again, but once they do they grow amazingly quickly (if my Yasha is anything to go by.)
