Brooks
Looks great! Did you ask if the rock was fully cured? If so, you might be set to go fairly soon (as far as adding livestock). Just keep checking your parameters for the next 3-4 days and make sure that IF you have a cycle, you don't add stuff in while it is happening. DragonDiver
I just checked the water and ph is at 8.0 and nitrates, nitrites, and ammonia is all under .25 ppm is this good? Haha sorry for asking dumb questions just still trying to work the kinks out!
+KimP
Well you want your ammonia and nitrites to be 0. But the fact that you are showing some nitrates is a good sign!

DragonDiver
We have these little starfish type creatures appearing in the new tank. They are white and very small...any idea what these are? Thanks!

+KimP
Yep, asterinas. I would keep testing the water every couple days until you have 0 ammonia and 0 nitrites. What are you wanting to do next?
DragonDiver
I was thinking about adding some frags and inverts to see how those do in the tank and then hopefully add some fish! sorry first time i could get to a computer today! +KimP
Looking forward to the pictures! Be sure and watch your water params and be ready to do water changes as needed. I don't know how many or what fish you got, but it might overload your system in the beginning if you add a lot at once. You can also use something like Prime if you get an ammonia spike, in a pinch. DragonDiver
thats true! ahhh I guess I'll just deal with it, haha I don't want to go through the trouble of rearranging the aquascape, I'll probably just get a thin scrubber.
