meaganmason1
a green slimer that ive only had for a few days has evidently slimed something it has turned completely white. is it dead? or what?
Robb in Austin
Sounds like it. Probably a combination of not enough light(assuming you haven't upgraded yet) and the tank not being quite ready for SPS(parameters wise).
pbnj
Also, freshly cut/mounted frags sometimes bleach-out suddenly.
meaganmason1
Yeah think I've got the light thing fixed. The SPS is open and doing great. The slimer was doing fine until I got home from work yesterday and the eel had knocked a cabbage leather off the top of the rock. The leather was looking pretty bad for a few days before. It fell a little close but not on it. Since then the slimer has been white. what should I do (leave it and see what happens or go ahead and trash)? Kevin S.
Sounds like its dead, you could trash it if its white. And now I see that this post was from September.... Edited January 8, 2012 by Kevin S.
