+dapettit Posted February 17, 2011 Posted February 17, 2011 I found a box of unused o2 canister while moving my parents. They are the perfect size to fit under my tank. Can I use them for co2? Quote
wa1tx Posted February 17, 2011 Posted February 17, 2011 Your not supposed to as there is a danger of it blowing. I doubt you would find anyone to fill it anyway. You may be able to trade them in though at airgas or one of the other gas suppliers. Quote
jestep Posted February 17, 2011 Posted February 17, 2011 The cannister can possibly be used but surely not the regulator. CO2 is a liquid while O2 remains a gas, so they require different regulators to work properly. Quote
