wizardx322
my kenya tree i got 4 months ago has grown very large and today i found like 9 branches that split off floating around or stuck to live rock. I am assuming this is how it propagates? well i didn't want them floating around and attaching to my live rock so i took them and glued the tiny branches to a frag disk's. my question is, is it ok that i glued it down like that or should i have done something else? jestep
Should be fine. You can glue them if the glue actually sticks, or rubber band them, or just put something on top of them until the foot attaches. Those and xenia are pretty much indestructible so whatever method that gets them on the disk for a day or two usually ends in them attached to it. JamesL
Yep, self splitting seems to be a favorite method for the kenya tree. Mine has done that also a few times.
