Robert Wynn Posted October 24, 2010 Share Posted October 24, 2010 I am setting a small acrylic tank up in my office and I am trying to find a smaller, (1 - 3'') mantis to feature in the tank. I would like to spend something in the range of 20-40$. The more coloration the better. The exact species isn't too important, as long as the size is right. I would prefer a Peacock(or other bashing type species). I won't be able to take delivery until about mid Nov as my tank won't start cycling until Nov 1st so if anyone has one, or knows somewhere in Austin/San Marcos/San Antonio area to get one please let me know! What you can do is build a house for him with outlets facing upwards at about 45 degrees and bury it under sand so you won't lose any tank floor square footage with a cave. My mantis loves it.
