mFrame Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 I've recently changed my lighting on my 90g to go with a more open top design. That means you have a chance to buy my custom cherry/oak canopy and lights. I would prefer not to part out, but if that is where the most interest is I'll consider it. Canopy includes: (2) 250 MH magnetic ballasts, reflectors, bulbs (2) 14k Phoenix bulbs with 6 months use - ran for about 4 hrs a day) (2) 48" T5 actinic blue (marine glow 54w) Icecap 660 ballast, wiring harness, 4 waterproof endcaps (driving the actinic light) (4) entertainment center cooling fans with mounting brackets and wiring harness (2) 12" blue cold cathode ray bulbs and wiring harness (moon lights) I don't even want to think about how much time/effort/lumber I have in this project. MH ballasts and canopy are a custom job. The canopy will completely enclose the top of your tank, wiring is all routed to the end of the canopy. Custom wiring uses standard computer power cables (provided) for quick and easy disconnects. MH ballasts are mounted in a gray pvc electrical box with openings for fans. EVERYTHING IS USED BUT IN GOOD WORKING ORDER Canopy is made from cherry veneer plywood (panels) and oak (black trim parts). Both front and back of the canopy have 48" piano hinges allowing you to access your tank from either side. Perfect for a peninsula tank setup. Everything except the MH were purchased new. Lighting should be more than sufficient for anything you want to raise (SPS, LPS, clams, softies). If you have any questions ask away. Quote
Starsprinkle Rainbowsmile Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 How much are you asking for it? pm Quote
mFrame Posted August 16, 2010 Author Posted August 16, 2010 I'm asking $425 for the canopy as a whole. Quote
+mcallahan Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010 This is a nice setup and is very clean..its almost brand new. The wood work on it top notch and Mike could build you a matching stand if you wanted. $425 is a steal. Quote
