Koe
I'm planning on a tour of all the Austin marine aquarium stores tomorrow and am looking for a list of stores to visit. I'm familiar with: River City Aquatics Aquadome Aquatech Fishy Business What other stores should I include in the tour?
JeffT
2 stores that I have never visited are Gallery of Pets and Amazonia.
Robb in Austin
You got all of the ones worth visiting on your list. Is GoP still open? Amazonia has a _very_ limited marine selection. Might as well make a run to Taylor and hit up AAF since they will be open tomorrow. Good BBQ too.
+Hydro
AAF is worth the drive for sure, I'm going tomorrow.
+cyrus
Always River City and Aquadome!
JeffT
AAF is definitely one for the list! Aquatek, River City, and Fishy Pets fulfills all my aquaria needs.
offroadodge
no need to say anymore, the ones you listed plus AAF are the best. If i had to choose the one i like best in order: River City, Fishy Business, Aquatek. AAF is the leader in rare and the beautiful. The others i have never visited. Maybe one day... pbnj
Once in a blue moon, you might find something of interest at Gallery of Pets, but they are quite pricey. I have to be really bored to take the time to stop in there. Seems like the place to go if you have birds though.
pbnj
I would go to Aquadome if I were looking for a specific fish. They have a wide/good variety. RCA and Aquatek are always must-stops for me. Love to chat with Shane at Fishy Business.
Derekreefer
Aquadome is at the top of my list. The selection and price of fish and coral is reasonable.
Will
Aquadome has best fish selection IMO, and a pretty good coral selection (although their sps are lacking) Aquatek has a good fish selection and a pretty good coral selection, but their prices are high IMO RCA has a good coral selection and price, but when i have been there they have been lacking on fish. Fishy Business has a pretty good selection (right after Shane orders) and price, but he does not order every week so sometimes his stock gets pretty low. AAF has no fish selection, but the best selection/price on coral IMO

Derek
2 stores that I have never visited are Gallery of Pets and Amazonia. Gallery of Pets sometimes has some nice stuff. I usually go to AquaTek and River City when I am looking for a variety of things.
wizardx322
I went to Amazonia the other day and it was very disapointing. Everything is over priced and there is very little selection. They are trying to sell mexican turbo snail for $10 each!!!! The employees do not seem knowledgeable when i ask some questions. I do not recommend them. Then i bought some from aquatek, and the water smelled fine.
Koe
Had a great time on my tour. Made it to River City Aquatics, Fishy Buisness, Aquadome, Aquatech, and Amazonia. Planning on visiting AAF this saturday. The trip really makes me want to setup another tank or two. Right now I've just got a 6 gallon fluval edge with a purple lobster in it so can't have any fish.
