Lighting suggestion

Murphy's Second Law states in order to do something you must do something else first.

So, in my case I need a better lighting system.

What would a good light set for a 55G?

I have 70 lbs of Live rock and 2 inches of live sand, plenty of mushrooms and polyps along with various other stuff attached to rocks.

Suggestions?

Thx

I am not sure what you have now but 216 watts of T5 ought to be suffucient for most anything you want to have. Find a fixture you can afford. There is a tank here in Hutto owned by dav_nolen that is absolutely gorgeous and that is what he uses. He has pics in the gallery I think.

A quick reference guide is the 'lighting chart' provided by Marine and Reef web site. The chart can be found in their general lighting section. The chart provides the requirements for tank capacity, physical size, and its contents.
