29gal zeo thread

Well, I started the zeovit system today. I am using .2L zeolites and a drop of zeobak and zeostart a day, and zeofood7 2 times weekly. I actually have been dropping the zeostart and zeobak for a couple days along with the zeofood. And I hooked up a nano filter with my zeolites in it on a 3hr on/3hr off schedule today. I also run about .3 liters of carbon and am going to slowly start removing my GFO. I will get some pics up soon, and hopefully this thread will help document my progress. I am already seeing improvement from a couple days dosing the zeostart, food7 and bak. Corals are opening up more, and along with the new XM 20K bulb, coloring up quite well. I am battling some bryopsis, so my Mg is higher than recommended, but I think it should be fine. Any advice will be appreciated.

The zeolites are a rock like material that stays in a media bag in a reactor. I am using a small nano HOB filter that pushes around 100gal per hour. You change the media after 4 weeks(partial change). From what I understand it is a media for bacteria to grow on.

So, tank params as of 4/7 are:

PO4- .1ppm

NO3- 10ppm

Ca- 450ppm

KH- 8

PH- 8.3

Mg- 1650mg/Lt

My Ca and KH are a little higher than recommended, but I am starting anyway. We will see how it goes.
