Will
I have a Nano i am working on, and need to get it drilled (3/4"). As i am a student, (working on a budget) do any of you know of anyone who drills glass for a low price (called some glass shops and they wanted $80 a hole). Thanks for the help Will
Reybeast
Shane at Fishy business does it. He;s on Burnet and braker (roughly)
Zarathustra2
Dave (Username Prof) from Epic reef can do it for 20$ a hole if I remember correctly. Also he is a great all around guy and a sponsor. His information is in the sponsor section. And me saying he is a great guy has nothing to do with me ordering a lot of fish/corals from him recently. Gonzobob
Check our sponser section. I believe both Prof and Shane at Fishy Business will drill tanks quite reasonably.
chrisfowler99
Just make sure the glass isn't tempered.
Will
Its not, its the left vertical side of a 16 gal bowfront. the bulkheads im thinking of ordering require a 1 1/2 hole
+KeeperOfTheZoo
Last time I asked Dave was charging $25 a hole.
Chrispar
I think in his forum, Under :what I can do for you. It says 20 a hole. if you factor in a bulkhead yeah 25 is about right. but just the hole is 20.
+KeeperOfTheZoo
Nope, I asked about just the hole, he said $25, bulkhead extra. Ok, where's Dave to settle this!?! Oh, second hole was $20. I posted in his section under 'tank drilling'.
prof
Generally, $25 for the first hole and $20 for each additional. I'll do $20 a hole for ARC members if you bring me the tank.
