I’m looking for 2 used but fully functional metal halide fixtures, 175w or 250w. Reflectors and Ballasts, bulbs are optional. I’ll pay cash or possibly trade hardware, fish, coral. thanks, John

Can someone please check the below link and tell me if this bulb is a good one to use. It really sucks having to go to the LFS and spend so much on replacement bulbs. If this is a descent one that would even last 6 months, id like to know. Thoughts anyone? Thank you in advance. http://www.amazon.com/Double-Ended-Metal-Halide-20000K/dp/B007X6458C/ref=sr_1_7?s=pet-supplies&ie=UTF8&qid=1359169079&sr=1-7&keywords=20000k+metal+halide+light+bulb

I recently got a metal halide fixture for my tank. I have the fixture so that the bottom of it is six inches above the surface of the water. Is this too low? How high should the fixture be above the surface of the water? It is a 250 watt fixture. There are two HQI bulbs in it and four T5s. It is easy to adjust the height as it is suspended by cables.

Wave box is model no. 7240, its older but works like new. I did break the impeller when cleaning it, just the fan part so it needs a new one. I think they go for 30 bucks or so. - 250.00 OBO Reef Octopus model otc-1000, I ran it on my 90 gallon with 45 gallon sump - comes with half full 10lb bottle Co2, pH probe, milwaukee sms122 pH meter, and additional pumps etc. necessary to run the reactor and some media. I ran it in the sump because I don't trust these things from leaking- have to have the fittings on perfect. I believe the chamber is about 12 inches long X 4 inches wide maybe a little b
