I have a 48" 75gal with center brace and no canopy. I keep softies, anemones, a few fish. I don't foresee keeping hardcore SPS, nor want to a chiller. While LEDs are cool and all, I'd like to stick to the motto, "best bang for the buck." My reef is currently lit with a 2x65watt Sunpaq fixture. Way under lit, i know. That said, it's time to upgrade to something with a bit more umph. Does anyone have something that may work...or have any suggestions? I'm in no rush, but want to begin the search. Thanks, Cheney

I'll take this, Cliff. Sent a PM.

I still have 2 of these LTAs for available, $35 each. All are healthy and happy, and range from 4-5" when fully open (not including tentacles). Sorry for the iPhone pic :-)
Thanks!

I have some Maiden's Hair. I could break off a few 3x4" pieces for $15 each. I don't have pics with me, but it's identical to that found on LiveAquaria.com.
I also have some cool Dragon's Breath and Halimeda (below)...good size handfuls (about 3 of each available) for $10 each.
Let me know if you'd like to stop by.
Thanks,
Cheney

It's mine, Mark. I should be there about 4:45 or so to get it, if that's ok.
Thanks,

Oh, I actually went a completely different route; I'm getting a wrasse instead. As I read more about them, I found out that the blue velvets are extremely effective at what they do...eating flatworms. However once that food supply runs out, they'll starve to death. As cool as they are, that's just not something I could do.
-
Never mind, I've gone another route.

Thanks, all. The good news is I don't have the bad ones either, but I still don't want their presence to restrict the light to my corals. So, I think I'll try the wrasse route first to see if that addresses the issue. The whole act of balancing our little mini-ecosystems, while challenging at times, is a really cool experience.

Thanks for your input, Bill.

What has given you all the most success at controlling reddish-colored flatworms? I've read that blue velvet nudibranches are excellent, but will starve once the population is trimmed back. I've also read mixed reviews about some 6-line wrasses and other fish. Any first-hand experience would be appreciated.

Anyone have a Blue Velvet Nudibranch to sell or trade for some coral? Thanks for your help

John, will you have any emerald crabs this week? I'd like to get one, but didn't see any on your site this evening.
Thanks,

Mark,
I'll take the Koralia 1. I can't swing by for a day or two, so I'm happy to PayPal the $ to secure it. Let me know your preference.
Thanks,

I have a 8" high or so handful that I'd sell for $10. Here's a pic of some that I've harvested in the past.
Thanks,
Cheney
