nice LTA. I have seen clowns have this happen to them after first putting in a tank with an anemone. Its the actual sting spots on the fish. The fish will look better in a week or so. I have also seen clown eat small part the the tentacles, i was told it helps the fish acclimate itself.

i have the sundial lighting setup on my 20gal. it a nice quality setup by you are going to want new bulbs the factory bulbs a junk. After looking at the price of around $200 plus for the lights than another $80 for the you are at $ almost $300. So for an extra $40 you can get the 4x24 light fixture from AIT. Witch comes with the best bulbs and reflectors you can get. ATI 4x24

I have the current sundial t5 set up. Im very happy with it. The price was right but the bulbs that come with it a junk. I changed them out for giesemann bulbs. They are the best t5 bulbs you can get locally. Next time I change bulbs im going to go with AIT bulbs. Dont get me wrong the giesemann bulbs look very nice and aquatek has the hole line up and a display so you can see what the bulbs look like when on. I would stay away from the pure actinic, the par output on them is very low

I have a mixed tanks with sps and lps. I also have a crocea clam that is doing very well. ALl I have had was the t5 lighting.

I would not change all the bulbs at ones. I would do one or 2 a week, and let the coral in the tank adjust to the new lights and the new spectrum the lights are putting out.

Try the mesh mod from meshmod work very well. Tunze is nice stuff but over priced imo. Lots of other very good skimmers out there for way less and better

kinda the same but my plate coral ate a mushroom. Pooped it out 2 days later. The mushroom was a lot smaller but still green and look like its going to live I saw the green mushroom that got eaten on the sand the other day and it looked very good for being eaten. I also now it was the same mushroom because its the only green one it the tank

are you sure it wasnt the other way around??? wont eat corals but will eat inverts?

You could talk to the manufacturer, Most tanks are only tempered on the bottom. You could still make overflows on the back. Take a look at the display tank at Fish Business. My next tank will have over flows like his. Looks much nicer and takes up way less room in the tank
Need help from you all 1 last time

Im am going to be moving to el paso and will be taking my tank with me. Its only a 20gal tank with 2 fish but has 20 coral and a clam in it. So what do you all think the best way to do this. Im going to keep about 4in of water in the tank to keep the sand alive. And the fish im going to put in a 5 gal bucket with some of the live rock. not sure how to move the corals and clam. Also are there any portable heaters?? I will do the drive in one day so thats one good point. Or is this just a bad idea. Or if i could would it be better to have some one hold the live stock and fedex the to me After i get the tank runing in a day or 2 after i get there??
