They taste good if you cook them right. Just kidding. They creep me out too!

  2. Thank you, thank you, thank you....every time I look at the forums page, I get sad for that poor doggie! You mods rock!
  3. Mike, I'm so sorry to hear about your kitty. Know that you gave him a wonderful home and did everything in your power to take care of him. I talked to you once about your kitty at Prof's house....when my boyfriend and I got in the car, I said, "I like that Mike, he knows kitties come first." My thoughts are with you. Hang in there. Ashley
  4. I know the animal rights' people were not too happy about the Qua tank, but I also heard that the acrylic was getting all scratched up from high heels!! Oops!
  5. We just left RCA with the cutest, tiniest little porcupine puffer. He's about the size on a nickel!
  6. We aren't currently running a skimmer on the nanocube, but could certainly look into getting one for the puffer. Thanks for the link. I'll check it out. I definitely wouldn't want to risk the puffer being unhappy in a little tank.
  7. Looking for opinions/experience with putting a small porcupine puffer in a 24 gallon nanocube with an already established watchman goby/pistol shrimp pair. Is the puffer likely to mess with the goby? Do puffers do okay with zoas and LPS? Thanks for any info and thoughts.
  8. Thanks everybody! Not to worry....this particular guy made it back into the tank!
  9. Hi All, Any idea what this guy is? I've seen a handful of them in our tank. Is he good or bad? Thanks!
  10. Interested in blue zoanthids and green/purple zoanthids. PM Sent.
  11. Oh no! I really liked your pink spotted goby! (I'm probably not on here enough for you to know who I am...austinaquaman's (John) girlfriend...recommender of throat meds) That anemone creeps me out!
  12. The Calfo book retails for around $60, but I found it online as a "May special" for $34.95 at a site called afishybusiness.com. Had not ordered from them before but the shipping with very quick and the book is perfect. Just thought I'd let others know about the deal, since that book is pretty pricey.
  13. Austinaquaman (John) and I have Lily, an 11-year-old Westie.
  14. Good for you for taking the little guy! I hope he makes it. Even if he doesn't, at least you gave him a little peace. I've seen similar situations with the clowns at PetCo and stood there waiting to make sure the stressed ones were moved to other tanks.
  15. Thank you so much! He just reappeared! Obviously a little spooked about something, but I can see him down in his little hole.
  16. Looking around online, I'd say he is a Tiger Pistol Shrimp. We got him and the goby at the same time at RCA. They only took about a day to find each other and have been together ever since.
  17. Our yellow watchman goby has been MIA for a couple days. He lives under the rocks with his buddy, a pistol shrimp, but we haven't seen him lately. How long should I wait before I worry that he's gone? Thanks!
