  1. Well, we are cleaning house. We are having to make ends meet and need to get rid of our tanks. Right now, we have three cardinal fish (1 PJ and a pair of Bangai) and a clown that have all lived to gether very well in a 30 gallon tank for some time now. We would like $35 for all 4 fish.

If you want the 30 gallon salt tank with stand, we can make a deal.... Let us know.

We also have a very large Barb (probably 5-6" long) and a large red african cyclide. We would like $15 for both of them.

All prices are negotiable. Please send any offers.

  2. I also have some saltwater livestock. 1 pajama cardinal, 2 bangaii cardinals a small clown fish (the nemo type), inverts, three corals, and a tube anenomi, live rock, live sand, some powerheads, etc..

The reason I am having this "going out of business" sale is I just found out at 5pm yesterday my job as a DBA was being outsourced. So, I am trying to pick up the pieces of my life and support my family here. I am also trying to get rid of a 2004 GT Mustang and try and rent my house out.

Any help and advice is welcomed.

  3. Hello everyone and fellow fish keepers,

Having a rough week already. I was just told I am being outsourced. That being said, I was wondering if anyone is looking to purchase a 2004 Mustang GT? I just need all the help I can get right now. I just found out about this yesterday at 5pm, no time to prepare. I guess I should look at renting out my house as well. I am willing to take all the suggestions or bits of advice anyone can give me right now. I am confused right now, how can I support a family.

Let me know your thoughts and feelings,

    Matt

  4. I have stands for the 75 gallon and the 30 gallon and the bio cube and the 20 gallon (one of those metal stands). If you want it all I will have to increase the price becuase the stands cost more than the tanks. If you want them all, I would start out at 400 and we can work from there. let me know.

  5. I have 5 tanks for sale. A 75 gallon, a 30 gallon, a 29 bio-cube, a ten gallon, a twenty gallon. I am willing to sell them all for a total of around 100 bucks. I also have some livestock that I am willing to part with. A freshwater barb and an african ciclid. Saltwater I have one pajama cardinal, two bangaii cardinals and a clown fish. Make me an offer.

    Matt

  6. It's been some time since we have posted on here. My husband and I sold our 210 gallon set up (boo-hoo) and are now focusing on our 30 gallon tank only. The 210 was just too much with a baby too!

About 3 weeks ago, we got a baby long spined urchin from the LFS. It was such a baby it didn't even have all of its spines yet. Or that was what we were told (I have no reason to not believe this).

To get to the point. The guy has been doing well all this time but over the last few days has been flipping itself upside down and not righting itself. We did a water change today. All the levels seem fine. Just not sure if this is a bad omen..... I am wondering if we made a mistake by getting one so small.... hmmm.....

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.

  7. I know that I posted on here previously, but I haven't gotten much response. I figured that people would make offers on the fish if they didn't like the prices, but I'm surprised that there have been no takers yet.... They are really nice fish, and we would love to see them go to a nice home vs. back to the LFS. Again, we have the following:

    1. golden wrasse - $15

    2. PJ Cardinal - $10

    3. cleaner wrasse - $15

    4. long fin butterfly fish - $60 for the pair

    5. sailfin tang (red sea kind) - $35

    6. blue chin trigger - $50

    7. tomato clown pair - $30

    8. coral safe star fish - $20

    9. sea cucumbers - $15 for both

    10. long spine urchin - $15

We will be busy packing more stuff tomorrow, so if you are interested, leave your information in a message and maybe a phone number. Either my husband or I will get back with you. If you would like photos, please send your e-mail address and we can provide what we have.

  10. I think that the butterfly fish that we have are invert safe. We have had inverts in with them (still do) and they are fine. We did have a tube anemone in there, and they killed it though, so I don't think that they are safe with soft corals. You could always give it a shot, but I know what you mean about hating to lose any good corals you have. They are great fish! Very hearty!! We'll sell the pair for $70. We paid $60 each for them.

As for the wrasses. We will sell both of them for $40. I can't remember what we paid for them, but I know that they were more than $25 each. Let me know if you want to make an offer on any fish.

  11. This system is still available and I am willing to deal. I am also willing to part this out piece by piece if needs be. Please someone make me an offer of some sort. I love the hobby but will be relocating and need to find a home for the fish and the equipment.

  12. Due to some economic issues, my husband and I are forced to sell our 210 gallon tank with fish. Since we weren't able to sell it as an entire thing we are now trying to sell the fish prior to any other items. For sale, we have the following fish. They are all very healthy. No issues, all peaceful and all 1 1/2 - 2 1/2 years in our tank. Please e-mail offers for whatever fish you are interested in:

    1. Red Sea Sail Fin Tang - This guy is full size. He is beautiful and will lighten and darken his coloring as he swims. He is the leader of the tank, and can probably be put with some moderatley aggressive fish to peaceful fish. Coral safe

    2. Blue Chin Trigger Fish - This fish is my favorite. She is shy but swims freely once she has adjusted to the tank. She is coral and invert safe (we saw a trigger this size at Aquatech for $120)

    3. Golden Wrasse - This fish is bright yellow and swims all over the thank. She is peaceful but can spook. She has been known to jump around in the water

    4. Pair of Long Fin Butterfly Fish - These are a male and female pair. They look like moris idols, but they are hardy and will eat anything. They are invert safe

    5. Pair of tomato clowns - What can I say....big female and male pair of clowns. We have had these for over 2 years now.

    6. Blue Streak Cleaner Wrasse - This guy cleans our fish better than any cleaner shrimp. He eats wet and dry food as well

    7. PJ Cardinal - This guy is a typical cardinal. Big and beautiful. He minds his own business and stays out of trouble.

All of these fish eat dry and wet food. We have been feeding them dried worms and dried mysis as of late. It has really brought out their colors.

We also have 2 sea slugs, 1 large spiny urchin that cleans more algea than any snails ever could, various snails still hanging around, and live rock.

I am attaching some stock photos of what the fish look like as well as some photos I had in my folders of our fish taken one night with the lights off. Please e-mail any offers or questions.

  13. Thanks for all of the advice. I think after another week or two we might decide to part it out. We would obviously have to sell the live stock first.....but we'll see what happens. We had one person interested, but they wanted a pre-drilled tank. I don't think that he wil lfind one for what we had...... Thanks again!

  15. Hi Everyone,

Due to some tough economic choices and loss of a job my husband and I are looking to sell our 210 gallon tank. We really hate to do it, but we just don't have a choice. Has anyone on here had experience selling a tank this size? What are suggestions for selling it? We really need to get it gone. We probably spent around $5k or more on the whole set up (including fish etc)...... Obviously we won't see close to that....but any ideas on what we might be able to get for it?

Thanks! I really do appreciate it.
