Selling my dream setup. Just opened a business and had a kid, so I now have no time to take care of it. Here we go.
400 gallon acrylic tank and nice wood stand
Nice acrylic 4 chamber sump
2x 250 watt metal halides with lumenarc reflectors
1x 400 watt metal halide with lumenarc reflector and icecap ballast
tunze wavebox and extra magnets
giant skimmer with 4 upgraded eheim recirculation pumps
Big Reeflo dart main pump
300 gpd ro setup with holding tank
reef keeper 2 and laptop
1/2 hp chiller
huge calc reactor
smaller calc reactor
6 inch sand bed and several bags of unused new sand
at least 1200 lbs of live rock
one of the main rocks is a huge red pipe organ looks awesome in the middle of the tank
lots of random other stuff included
it would cost over $15k to put all this together new plus everything is fully cycled
$4000.00 takes it all

I live in georgetown and would like 4 of them, but i dont have time to drive all the way to lake travis. Is anyone in the round rock or gtown area going to get some? I will give you the money ahead of time plus a couple bucks for gas. Thanks

I have a couple hundred pound of live rock. It's a mix of rock from my old tank that was setup for years and rock that has been curing with it for a couple months. $4.00 / lb

I would call it extra medium
-
I think that was a little more then an offer

something like this might be nice, maybe with more than three bulbs though
Yeah, definitely more than 3 - Benny's tank is only a 29g I'm using 6 of the PAR38 bulbs over my 36x36x27" tank, and can suggest that 6-8 of them would be perfectly suited for a 36" cube - but you'd probably want 60 degree optics on at least 2 or 3 of the bulbs for varying spreads. All 6 of mine are 12k and 40 degree optics - I'd say it's too sharp & bright for my tastes, and that my fish seem to prefer it dimmer and/or more blue in spectrum. I may be changing to a more 20k (or bluer) spectrum overall in the near future.
I'm assuming those are par38 LED spot lights, If so where is the best place to get them?

I'm about to order a 36"x36"x36" Rimless. I'm trying to decide what light i want. I want to go with a single hanging light. I think I want a 1000w with a digital ballast any suggestions on what to go with.

Idk what you need to do, but I have a big mig and stick DC machine, a torch, plasma cutter and an AC/DC tig welder.

I haven't posted in a while. But I got married and I'm switching houses. So now i'm looking for a different tank to go with it. Something around 36"x36"x36". After I transfer what I want my 8" long tank will be for sale.
