Mike whats going on? A super clean out of the tank? You got me wondering what in the world did you pick up from Danny or the internet. I am still waiting for the PPE chalice/whatever it is coral. I am gonna have to stop by just to look at the goodies in the tank now. I hope the lights didnt do to much damage. You really got me wanting to order some of those actinic lights of yours though. The birdsnest colony is from the one in this pic. It is just really grown out. Sorry I dont have anything of the colony by itself more current. If your wanting it I have to meet you tonight, as I will be leaving out of town in the morning. If that is a problem I can get it to you when I get back.

I have a baseball size colony of ORA pink birdsnest I will sell for 20 bucks.

Mike dont forget to hold the frag of the coral in the 7th pic on the top right after you frag it and its healed up a bit. My wife is looking forward to me placing that one in the tank. Could you send me a list of your different frags. I am really interested in what LE corals you stock for maybe putting together a frag pack.

I also think it looks a lot like a leather from my tank t hat was sold to me as a chili coral. I kept it in a cave with moderate flow and it would extend it's white polyps mainly in the early mornings and late evenings.

If a prior commitment finishes early I may be able to make this meeting with the wife and kids. I would love to pick up some frags if I make it, but I am worried about them sitting in bags until tomorrow night. What do you think my chances of keeping them in a ziplock overnight in my trunk are? Not so good I think. I may have a couple good sized colonies of ORA Pink Birdsnest I could bring if anyone is interested in meeting up somewhere. I will be off to Austin in a couple hours so hopefully you can let me know before then. I will check the board before I leave.

Danny its me Alex. The Undata frag I got from you a while back is doing great. Could you let me know when the Tyree Purple Monster is ready to be cut again. I am wanting another nice frag hopefully with a nub or two or more. My wife doesnt care for the look of 1 inch sticks which is part of the reason I cant get to many of the corals I like from you at the same time. I know its a pain but could you again mount it like you did with the other frag and let me know when its healed up. Its proubly all my fault of having baseball mit hands, but I just have bad luck with frags that are unmounted. Thanks a bunch.

I cannot remember the names of these things and was wondering if someone can help me refresh my memory for the common names of these softies. I know one bunch that was cut off on the left is Tubbs blue zoas, and the yuma, and the AOG, but the others I cant remember. I think one may be bam bams. If you could point me in the right direction I would appreciate it. All the small colonies grouped together are different zoo morphs. Sorry about the pics as my camera bytes. Thanks a bunch.

I am looking for frags of bright colors to add into my tank. I would like a frag of superman monti with a bright blue base. I have seen some that just dont color up very well no matter the light or flow that is given. I am also looking for some frags of a zoanthid that Mike Delgado had that he called Candy Apple Pinks and also Valentinesday Massacre. Please post a pic of what you have. If possible post a pic of what it looks like under regular lights and also under actinic. I may be interested in other super colorful corals of other types also such as chalices or what ever catches my eye.

I remember you mentioning this at the last meeting. Great information to share with all of us. In my last visit to Moody Gardens a couple years ago there was a couple of small windows allowing a person to see some of the pipes and filtration for the building with the aquatic livestock. This was before all the hurricanes so things may have changed. If I remember right the protein skimmer I saw looked like it was 4ft wide in diameter and about 12ft tall. Of course I may be wrong with my visuals but it definatly looked to be a skimmer. There were lots of pipes. I do remember clearly seeing coral frags on plugs in a couple of holding tanks off to the side of the windows. Makes me wonder if they give frags to fellow reefers. I'll ask next time I am down in that area for a vacation. Nobody hold their breath though.

If you have it at the meeting I would love to take it off your hands. But whomever gets there first should have dibs on it. Depending on the time, maybe I could just swing by and check out what else you have in your tank ready to be fragged after the meeting.
