  2. Tank is pending.........the Sundial T-5HO is still for sale.

Price for light is $150 firm.

The light includes 4 bulbs, 2 actinic and 2 10k and 2 moonlights with less than 4 months of use. This is $100 less than what I paid. Still have instruction manual and original box.

Information on the light from Sundial.....

    • Individually contoured ref lectors for maximum light intensity
    • Dual integrated timers and automatic photocell for dawn/dusk and lunar lighting control
    • Cool running, performance-driven electronic ballasts
    • European style high output T5 lamps
    • Rear-mounted fans designed for standard aquarium canopy installations

The Sundial high output T5 lighting system brings total control and extreme versatility to a variety of aquarium configurations. Whether it's mounted on top of an aquarium or inside of a canopy or hood, you can rest assure that it's designed to handle a variety of aquarium setups and still deliver professional results. The SunDial's low-profile aluminum housing fits easily under most open-back canopies or hoods, and with only one power cord for total lighting control, the SunDial takes up less power outlet space.

The Sundial features the SlimPaq 10,000k and 460nm Actinic High Output T5 lamps, offering the longest useable lifespan and highest output efficiency of any aquarium lamp. Each unit also includes photocell-controlled Lunar Lights with interchangeable color lenses for automatic nighttime viewing, rear-mounted fan(s) for improved heat removal with canopy installations, dual integrated timers for dawn/dusk applications, splash lens, and docking mounts.

  3. Set-up includes 54g RR Tank, Black Stand, 10g sump/refugium, and 24 inch Sundial Light T-5HO, (If purchaser would like, they can keep the sand over crushed coral bed) The light fixture, has 2 timers, one for actinics and the other for 10k. It also has Moonlights.

The tank is currently running, has been set up since early March, the lights are less than 4 months old. I am currently upgrading to a 210g, so this tank will no longer be needed. As you can see, with the help from some friends, I filled it up quickly, at the current time, it is even filled more than this pic.

I also want to add, that it has a few minor scratches on it, they are very hard to see, but I wanted to ensure to post.

I am asking $400. Thanks for looking!

  5. It's a shame, that this has come to happen, as we share many of the same Members on both Organizations, and each Club has something to offer the other. With that said, I have spent many hours organizing this trip for the enjoyment of others. I too was not satisfied with the arrangements that were made last year, so I took it upon myself this year to make all arrangements. And hopefully this year, we will be free of Hurricane threats....

If you would like anymore information about the Bigbird Port Aransas Trip, please feel free to PM me at either ARC or MAAST. I will try my best to respond quickly to all questions.

If any other lodging arrangements needs to be made, I along with the help of the hotel, can assist in finding another hotel.

Thanks for all your support and hope to see you all there,

    Cheri

  6. I went to a few...my fave two were aqua dome and aquatek.. You guys have to visit true percula when in arligton.

True Percula is out of this world.....very nice store, we also shop at Fish2Tomorrow and Frank's Tanks when we travel to the DFW area.

  7. Being a "survivor" of three tank crashes, I know how you feel....words cannot describe the emotions.....caring for a tank, watching coral grow and fish show their own unique personalities. Once you are ready for corals, again, please pm me or Steve, we will be glad to help re-stock your tank.

    Sincerely,

    Cheri Byrd

  8. ... and to think I just wanted a little help naming my pretty new coral.

I don't see how, something so innocent was taken so out of context.

I never saw where Andy stated that he was going to "name the coral," and sell it as an LE. That assumption is outrageous. It appeared to me that he was naming the coral for enjoyment, not for profit.

  11. Not to cause any problems, but I will chime in....Steve and I have both tried to "Log on" to ARC, for a while now, with no luck. Until about 2 weeks ago, I was not able to log on. Steve asked "Prof" to announce the invitation of TMAC, to ARC. Which Prof graciosly obliged.

We at MAAST, respect ARC, as many of our Members are Members of both clubs, as are we.

I will update the TMAC thread, and hope to see some of you there, but also we do not wish to take anything away from the ARC Meeting.

    Sincerely,

    Cheri Byrd

  12. Hey all,

We actually purchased our plane tickets in March, it was a little over $500 for the both of us RT, out of San Antonio. I like the shirt idea, even though we are two different organizations, we could all represent in a "LoneStar, shirt for one day....what do you think?
