Without seeing your building and exactly what you want to do I don't know that anyone would be able to tell you acurately if all of that is needed. The prices look fair. I would research the company that gave me the quote and if they are known to be a good company by the SW community then I would say you are in good hands.

With internal you don't have to worry about it losing siphon and flooding your tank. But the internal could get clogged and if you only have one drain pipe than your in the same boat. I think internals look a little cleaner because they hide all the plumming. I actually really like the Calfo overflow idea because it gives you the space inside the tank but also give you that clean look of an internal overflow.

make sure your refresh rate set for your second display is 60hz. Better to find a cheap monitor on craigslist
