these articles are key answers to my problems with algae matter.Fighting always with no3 and po4 reaching zeros levels was surely wrong ending up with bleaching and algae growth.Now I am convinced that no3 and po4 should both be present.The real problem is about the real ratio.
Consulting Redfield table if the desired level as commonly admitted would be 5ppm of no3 then amazingly the po4 level should be 0.3 which is enormous.
So here is my question :what would be the desired level of po4 if no3 should be 5ppm
I read lot of articles but no one clearly respected the redfield ratio since the admitted rule of thumb is 5 nitrates for 0.04 as average phosphates which is ten times less phosphates than the redfield chart.
