As i got to thinking about it, it doesnt look slimey, it looks like rusty ive never seen it before, but it truly is a rust color. I had the tank running for about a month and a half, i introduced some live rock that was already cured and recylced some of my old water and sand from my 12gal nano that had been running for 3 years. I currently have xenia and anthelia some zoos and a couple of mushrooms in there. Everything seems to be doing good nothing dying, im doing weekly changes since its such a small tank and have good flow. Im guessing im going to cut the lights for about 3 days. Are you sure everything will be okay? Thanks

Looks like reddish brown rust looking algae that is starting to come up on part of my live rock. What is this? Cyano? If so how can i get rid of this. This is on my 1.5 gallon pico tank that has been up and running for about 2 months. I have been doing weekly water changes and also have pretty good flow in the tank and filtration. I also have chemipure elite running in the tank. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I agree, xenia is pretty hardy, sometimes it will look like its completely wilted but as long as you keep an eye on it, and you have good clean water and good temps, you should be fine. Sometimes mine closes if it gets too much light or not enough. Weird stuff

As title says. Under a year old no problems. Im just moving and tearing down my tank. I just put a brand new bulb in it as well. $100 bucks firm and its yours. I live in south austin and prefer not to deliver. Could meet close to my house though.

I do have a Viper K2 150 Watt that im trying to get rid of asking $150 less than a year old and a new bulb.

Tearing down my Nano Cube Ive got 17 lbs of live rock that I need to get rid of. These are good size pieces small to medium, and one large bowling ball size rock that has a 3-4 inch diameter hard coral of some sort on there. These pieces also have blue and purple mushrooms on most rocks. A couple pieces are Fiji and other type of rock. The rock has been in my tank for over a year and lately i have been busy working and too busy to maintain my tank. I would give this stuff away but im moving and need some extra $ asking $50 I live in South Austin and cannot deliver but could possibly meet close to my area. Would need to bring an extra bucket.
