  1. I don’t have any ready for sale.

my system is still recovering from the crash. I have one sherman left, it’s still recovering. I have about 4 small rainbows that are coloring nice but not growing yet. My inferno also split 1:5 and is coloring up nice. Might have some available in a month or two. Austin Aqua Farms is currently selling Sherman’s from the same lineage, I think they have them priced at $179.

here’s what my system looks like right now.

  2. All of my zoas, two maxi mini anemones, and two rock flower anemones, survived down to 55 degrees and a 4ppm ammonia spike.

Also about 5% of my mushrooms, and 30% of my bubble tips made it (inferno, sherman, and rainbow)

On the invert side, pods, peanut worms, brittle starfish, Cerith snails, Harlequin, and Sexy shrimps did good. Unfortunately flatworms, and vermetid snails also survived.

I did lose a plague level of spionid worms. Turbos and trochus were fast to go, and I think contributed to the ammonia spike that claimed most of the fish and corals.

I also had two tangs (chevron and desjardini) and a lyretail anthias make it.

  3. I really like the 32G biocube. I have a 5 year established tank that I’ve kept running after upgrading to a 125 three years ago and I’m considering breaking it down or selling as a complete system.
I run it as a LPS / softie / anemone tank. If you want to go new, I’d recommend adding some additional venting to keep it cool in the summer.
The stock lighting is really nice. These days I run it super low maintenance 30% water changes biweekly. Phosphates have always been high in this tank, I think a constant leach from the live rock that I started with.

Current fish include a breeding pair of clowns, and a spotted mandarin that have been in this tank for 4+ years, also a yellow watchman goby and tiger pistol shrimp pair that have been in this tank for about 2 years. (Moved the goby after it was bullied in my larger system.)

  4. Pet sitter or friend to feed frozen in the evening every day (and my doggos), coupled with remote monitoring (apex with trident and a security camera) for piece of mind.
Water change right before and right after.

  5. Leather frags $20 not sure on lineage but look like “tyree green polyp leathers”
Sherman rose BTAs $40, small and tiny available.

Leathers are healed for about 3 months. Sherman’s split about a month or two ago, and were recently caught walking around the tank. They are both in a mesh breeder so very easy to remove now.

  6. How much did the fresh airline elevate ph?

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It increased my floor pH of 7.7 to 7.9, peak pH went from 8 to 8.15.
It also provided more stability, as my ranges would fluctuate a lot day to day based on how many people were in the house.
I did the fresh air line on Jan 15.
Here is an example of irregularities when my CO2 reactor media began to expire and I had people over one day and the ph shot down.

Here are some examples over time:
I find that ph drops slowly over the course of 2 weeks then back up after my water changes.

  7. +1 on the Wrasse. I had an outbreak of those that shot up overnight. I tried two rounds of flatworm exit, and it temporarily reduced populations, but they would bounce back. After adding a Saowisata wrasse (Halichoeres binotopsis ) they were eradicated. I presume any Wrasse in the Halichoeres genus will work. Good luck with your duo of hunters!

  8. —Sold—

This is the 7th clone from my rainbow. $40 OBO.

A little less than 2” extended.

Was happy in my LED biocube32, temporarily under hydra26 lighting.
