  1. I'm in the process of converting my backyard pond back into a pool (which it was originally) and need to re-home the fish.  I'm going through the process now of moving them into holding tanks so they'll be easy to fetch for anyone who wants some.

There's three generations, ranging from a little over a foot down to 5" or so depending on age.  Approx 50 in total.

I'm getting this posted early just in case there's interest here.  They should be ready for picking up next Wednesday, the 22nd

Please let me know if interested, I'm pursing multiple angles here to try and find homes for all of them.

  2. Have you ever wanted a zoa garden?  Come get some of my rocks!  I've got several types of zoas, some mushrooms, toadstool, and a nice little blasto

Also giving away what I've been using as a quarantine tank w/stand and sump, it's about 60G tank

And finally the big boy, RedSea Reefer 450 - Includes the tank, stand, sump, light mount rail (I'm keeping the lights, sorry) and a custom fit acrylic/net top to prevent jumpers.  This isn't empty yet, but should be in a few days once I place some of the coral.  You will need a truck and SEVERAL strong people, the tank is a BEAST to move.

  3. Based on https://www.bulkreefsupply.com/video/view/propagation-tank-set-up-video/

    Included:

ATI Sunpower 48" 4 bulb set up
4 bulbs with about 6 months time doing a daily cycle on them
The cool no-tool frame set up
The shallow plastic bin, drilled and plumbed for a sump below
The "sump" bin which is just some rubbermade food grade plastic bin
    Rio 1400 return pump
    Whatever in the main tank

The "tank" part has been dry for a couple months, the return side piping had a leak at one point and I got pretty ghetto getting it to stop fast.  I'd consider re-doing that side or replacing the tank piece with something more suited to your needs.

$350 for all,  you must come and get it, South Austin.

(Does not include RODI or siphon hose in pictures)

I love having an APEX, and the new one has a number of cool new features.... but can someone explain this to me:

    APEX_SALT.png

No water has been added or taken out of the system today at all.  I calibrated the probe a handful of days ago.  3.2 to 37 in a handful of hours. :( Has anyone else had these issues with their salinity probe?

Mine varies with temperature throughout the day.  Temp goes up, "salt" goes up.  Cools down, "salt" goes down.  Mine's varying within 1 pt though.

Prior to that I've worked a number of programmy jobs, I was CTO for a couple of Zynga games, lead developer on a poker analytics site, worked on the top debt settlement software (at the time), ... helped automate a brick factory. There's quite a list.
