  1. That is cool, I'll have to keep my eye on it.. Anymore cool sites like this that anyone might know of and care to share?
  2. Karen, put the MH's on top of the canopy..I have seen many like that and don't think it looks that bad
  3. Thank you link fixed.. Let me know.....
  4. Stand, Canopy and Tank $150.. I need this gone please
  5. $125 each? Looking for pumps/powerheads/T-5's
  6. It can weld up to 1/4" steel. It is a pretty good little welder for a home shop.. It could easily weld stuff for an aquarium stand or stuff like that. I used my friends before, but never opened this one... Let me know...
  7. Make offers, I just want this stuff gone.
  8. I need this gone tonight or I am breaking it up for filter material. I am in Killeen.. I will take $50
  9. Well I am going to light my tank primarily with T'5's as the MH's I had were way to hot for what I wanted and I didn't have the money to supplement with T5's and keep the MH's.. That is why I am looking for a trade for my stuff. I don't grow enough in my tank to warrant me keeping the MH"s instead of T5's I have been told 9" from water surface for MH's, mine were at 10" and I am planning on my T'5's being about 6" from the surface.. How does this sound?
  10. How high should my T5's be from the water surface? What is the minimum? What about MH's? Thanks.. btw this is on a 180
  11. Interested in the 2 powerheads.
  12. The same float valve you use on your RO/DI... Everything has a chance to fail. That is why you do "Preventive Checks" on your equipment. I will take a mechanical switch/valve/assembly over a electric switch any day.. I guess it is the mechanic in me wanting simpler. Either way Karen you will be ok with whatever you choose.. It is nice to leave your top-off alone for awhile..
  13. The barrels bottom would have to sit on a stand/platform that was higher than the inlet to the float valve on the sump. http://www.thefilterguys.biz/accessories.htm $15.00 - PVC Mini Adjustable Float Valve With 1/4" OD Tubing Inlet and http://www.shop.com/Couplings_JG27CC_1_4MP...14-o!.shtml 1/4MPT Plastic Ball Valve (found at home depot or lowes) and 1/4 plastic tubing, like is on your RO/DI... Also from lowes. 1. Drill hole into sump and mount item 1 inside with float level at max fill level in sump. 2. Drill hole into bottom edge of barrel and mount item 2. I used silicone to seal it in there 3. Elevate Item 2 higher than Item 1 4 Run tubing from 2 to 1 5 fill barrel 6. open item 2 7 monitor level in sump and adjust item 1 until set right 8 fill ro/di barrel as needed or allow RO/DI auto shut off to work. Call me if you need anymore help
  14. The valve I am suggesting will rely on gravity to feed the sump, the valve that was suggested above is for use along wiith a pump
