  1. I have 2 Rena Filstar canister filters.  Same rules as yesterday.  Maybe they work, maybe they don't. Either way, I don't need them, so if someone can use them, take them.  Otherwise, garbage can. The return on one is broken, meaning that water back into the tank will go straight down.

  2. Cleaning out the shed. Could be they all leak, could be none of them leak. I am not going to test them. These have been in my backyard shed for too long and I am never going to use them again. Rather give them away than smash them up and throw them away, if possible.
Located in NW Austin. I don't care if one person wants everything or if it's multiple people. I just want this stuff gone.

In order of attachments and from bottom to top of the photos:

    1) 21G (24x12x17), 10G (both pending)
    2) 31G (pending) (36x12x17) & 10G (Sump with bioballs and ceramic blocks), Sump with trays and roller
    3) 29G (30x12x19), 29G (30x12x19), Sump with no trays or roller

I will not be in front of the computer all day, but will check frequently. Gonna give it a couple of days then throw this stuff out.

  3. Thanks for the info. I'll check them out.

I was there earlier this week and they only had bottles of "arcti-pods" in the refrigerator.

I'm looking for live ones to seed my refugium.

The Tigger Pods work well. I started off with a bottle or two in my tank several months ago. I also picked up some chaeto from Steve at Horizon a couple of times. His algae tank is chock full of them. I have a fuge section in the sump but also plumbed my seahorse tank into the reef and if I shine a light an hour or so after the lights go out, the bottom just boils with them.

The TPs are a little spendy, but these things multiply like crazy so it's not like you are going to need a lot of them unless your tank is monstrous.

Do you have a particular fish that needs them?

  5. Tomorrow will work. I'll do it on my lunch break and can be there around 11:30. I prefer to do it when hubby is not home. He's in Houston today and San Antonio tomorrow. This way it will take maybe a couple weeks before he says "when did you get those".

That is just classic! Who among us has not been there!
