Just a quick update. I ended up ordering 1 all blue 445nm Panorama
Pro and the Ecoxotic 1 touch control to add to the existing light
setup. So when everything is delivered I'll be able to have more
control over the color and intensity of the lights. The one white/blue
Panorama is doing great, but I wanted just a little bit more blue, and
with the controller I also get some cool lighting programs and a
moonlight option.Other than that, everything is doing great so far. I added a few new corals too.

Nice. I knew I remembered seeing this one on nano reef. Welcome to ARC also.
Yeah, I've been doing only 30 gallon and Nano tanks for the last 5-6 years so nano-reef has been a good source of info for that.

I recently moved to Austin for work and don't have a ton of time or space right now but still wanted a reef setup. What I settled on was a Fluval Spec V. It's big enough for now and also required some DIY to make it work for a reef so it's occupying just the right amount of my free time right now.
So far I've upgraded the lighting, the return pump, the filtration/overflow setup, and added a small auto top off.
Anyway, here are some pictures of the progress so far. Its been up and running for just over 2 months.

Thanks for all the friendly replies. Once my tank starts getting somewhat interesting I'll post some pics or something.

Hello everyone!
I recently moved from Louisiana to Austin due to work. I've been into reefkeeping for the past 8 years or so, with most of my tanks being in the small/nano size. The latest was a 30 gallon cube with mostly SPS that I had up and running for about 3 years. I had to part it out to friends becuase of my move. I don't have much time or space in my new place, but I can't stand not having an aquarium setup so for now I'm keeping myself entertained with a 5 gallon setup that I plan to make mostly polyps and LPS.
Anyway, I know how much a forum like this helps out in any hobby so I was happy to find one in austin with lots of active members! Thanks for having me.

That is the only macro algae that I've ever seen that I actually like!
