The frozen food mixed with a tiny bit of minced garlic would be fine.

I second the thought of adding a garlic additive. He will likely find it irresistible.

Were you able to successfully breed them?
-
They look like Texas Trash Palys. The do grow at a very fast rate but don't bother other coral anymore than a zoa or other paly.
-
My purple hammer did the same thing. I moved it to lower flow and the bubble went away after a few days.
-
How much water did you mix? I wouldn't worry about 1 dkh on a customary water change. That's just me though.

Bump for a great guy with an outrageous collection. Enjoyed talking with you today Richard. I'd love to see a pic of that new orange hammer!

Man people pay $80 a piece for Picassos and often much more. You got a heck of a deal!

If you can look up in the attic and see roof braces coming down over the top of the wall you want to install it next to then that is a load bearing wall. The foundation under that wall will be constructed to hold a very large load. Sorry if you knew that already.

Nice looking clowns there. They will continue to darken up as they mature. The gray is probably orange transitioning to black. Rob (MrCobb) is a local clownfish breeder and can certainly give you more info on the breeder's grading systems. It is mostly French to me. Lol. You should shoot him a PM. He is always extremely helpful.

In that case so long as you can put the tank along a load bearing wall the foundation under that wall will be strong enough to support the additional weight. It looks to me to be a newer modular home
I was hoping you would see this post jestep, 57l x 30w x 30t
What's the tank dimensions?
I believe if it's a normal rectangle shape and the stand isn't just 4 posts, the weight distribution is similar as a lower volume tank with a proportional footprint.

No biggie Robb. :-)
There are quite a few foundation companies in town that specialize in pier and beam leveling. There are quite a few homes in Austin that were built on pier and beam foundations. That was pretty much the norm before the 60's when builders started going with primarily concrete slab foundations.

I have been under a lot of older pier and beam homes. You would be shocked to see the conditions of some of them and what has been used to make an attempt at leveling. Most foundation repair companies will provide free inspections. That's what I would do.
I'm just trying to help.
-
Didn't see any mention of a slab.Pier and beam foundations are not on a slab.
-
If it is an old house you definitely do not want to make the assumption that the foundation is sound to begin with. I would call a foundation repair company and ask for an inspection prior to setting your big tank up.

I have an account there but have never posted. The crowd there operates on a different wavelength. Our local forums and R2R are top notch though.
