Will this be coming Express Mail or with a different carrier? I ask because Express Mail is normally a two day delivery from Florida to Cedar Park.

The front right seam of my 180g blew yesterday. Long story short, I was home at the time (thankfully) and immediately clamped it back together to slow the leak while moving fish, corals, and rock to other tanks/barrels/tubs. My 45g frag tank is now housing 3 tangs, 3 clams, 3 anemones, 2 clowns, 1 copperband, and several corals. My two 18" engineers are in the stock tank with other corals and rock. Everything is now reasonably stable. However, I still need to get the tank fixed! I have left a couple messages for Kingfish, but have not heard back yet. I have heard/read great things about them, but time is critical. Are there any other places in the Austin area that can do this kind of repair? I'm guessing that Weldon 40 should be used to put it back together, but I'm no expert. Looking for advice, ideas, suggestions, etc. Need to get this thing fixed and back in service. Help!

I've bought acrylic rod at Regal before. I used a masonry bit and hammer drill for the holes and it worked well for me.

I had the same problem. Definitely move them to a calmer area. Not likely that they will adapt to high flow. HTH.

Sedra, Oceanrunner, and Red Sea all sell needle wheel pumps. I'm sure there are others. Ace, I have a Red Sea pump off a Berlin turbo. Might not be big enough, but you are welcome to try it.

Yep. I just lost a 6" Blue Surgeon and a dozen Chromis to an unexpected, unexplained ammonia spike.crybaby2.gif Bringing the tank back has been a pain. I did briefly consider 'what if I got out'.dontknow.gif Quickly moved past that though. Thought about all of the work/hassle/heartache of taking it down and selling it off. No thanks. I get too much enjoyment out of watching the tank and its inhabitants. Frags from this tank support all of the others. Now I can focus on what I may add in the future, and how to make things better. Before the disaster, I had no desire to add any more fish. Now, maybe I will add something else. I've got to look at this as an opportunity. Clint, My suggestion is to find a new direction or add another dimension to give yourself something to work towards and rekindle that desire. Your tank is outstanding. Can't imagine you taking it down. -Ed
