    tanks for sale.

For the 70 gallon and the light I will knock some money off...$225, however the 70gal will also come with a Koralia also. I've had a few questions on why I am selling all this....the 20 gallon was my prize sps tank and had alot of time and wallet put into it. I left for a weekend and had a HOB overflow that stopped working and all the live stock died . I broke down that tank and moved in this bigger RR tank to take it's place however lost my motivation in setting it up...I'm not giving up completely as I still have my 14gal biocube going strong (150 mh) in my room. Each tank holds water with no leaks!!

I do apologize, after measuring the 90gallon it comes out to be a 70gallon tank. I do apologize..... the measurements came out to- width-- 18 in Length-- 36 in height-- 24 in Stand is about the same except the height is 32 inches. Again sorry for the confusion on my part.
  7. So I've decided to downgrade and keep to my 14gal biocube....so these tanks sitting around must go!! 20gallon- I was using this tank for awhile and broke it down to replace it with a bigger tank....what you will get is the undrilled tank, stand, canopy and lighting system. I'm asking $100.... Tek T5 light fixture- 36" 4x39 Watt T5 Tek Light High Output Fixture- Have 4 bulbs in it that are brand new, installed them into the fixture and turned them on twice for 5 minutes (one for the pictures included below) - Asking $150 1/8 seachill chiller- still for sale. first $200 takes it You can contact me at 512-771-2479, kevin (my voice mail sounds like I'm answering my phone...don't let it trick you

  13. So I had a brief run in with the law, so for the last two months I've been away...while I was gone my brother was supposed to let my roommate in my room so he could maintain the tank. Well after returning all my coral and fish were dead, tank had crashed! No one had fed the tank nor did the water changes, my roommate was able to salvage a few coral..zoa's on a clam shell, sun polyps, hammer coral and a few crabs. So I am starting over. I picked up a 70g at aquatek (stand needs some work) and Tek T5 (4x39watt), my only plans for this tank are soft coral. Hope to bounce back up and get a tank going! btw my 8g boicube has grown some rather large mushrooms while I was gone.
  14. pm me your number, i would like to take the auto top off your hands.
  15. I just finished my canopy build...i used burched (very heavey :-( ), my tank is a 55g (48x12), the whole front swings open. Great thing about building your own is you can have it open however you want! I built my canopy 14in high to old house my mh,t5's, fans, and moonlights. If I can take pictures tomorrow i'll post mine for you also....
  16. When i was fighting hair algae I left my skimmer running, I also added a sea hare and watched him eat the whole tank clean within 3 weeks....
  17. To answer some questions... Blueline 10k bulbs are currently in them...no clue on the age of the bulbs but would recommend replacing them. I currently don't have a working camera as I tend to drop mine :-(. Since I don't have a camera let me try to explain them to you. The ballast is silver in color, some electric pro decided to cut the wires going to the lights...I have soldered all lines and used heat swrink (I am no total noob to wiring, i've rewired many cars during engine swaps). Hoods are in great shape, reflectores show no damage but will need a small clean up (which will be done tomorrow). Will I be willing to trade? 250's are still a little high but will be easier to work w/ than the 400's. Pm me what you want to do..I am looking for a straight trade as close as I can.
  18. Well after much trail and error im trying to find a much smaller mh for my tank, i currently have a pfo 400watt x2 ballast and lights. lights Im looking for a smaller hailde, around 150-200 prefer to be x2 due to a center brace in my tank...nothing is wrong w/ the bigger setup Im just to worried about boiling my tank. I had a impulse buy and think no matter what I do the 400x2 will just boil my water in the 55g .
  19. thank you for the link, now Im sitting here at 4am trying to identify the worms...so far I have 2 differnt colored worms, I hope someone will chime in. one is gray (these are my longest ones in the tank...and a pita to catch...) so far looking around I see Hawaiian Orange Fireworm as the match for these guys... This is what I seem to be catching ALOT, today I saw one that is so far going to be my record if I can catch it, stretched 16in long...and moved like there was no tomorrow. The other woms are more redish pink kinda like i found on another site... I will be adding a wrasse and arrow crab by sat...if anyone wants worms feel free to pm me and I will be more than happy to let you go worm hunting in my tank.
  20. It's bad when you walk up to a tank and the first thing you notice is all the bristleworms...i have a seabade anenome the size of a grapefruit when its closed...and unfortantly ppl first ask hey what is this worm sticking his head out of the rock? If you are really ordering worms for you tank you can allways let me know how many you would like....i can drop whatever i trap in a smaller tank and let you swing by to pick some up. I look into the arrow crabs to help bring down the overwhelming amount of them in my tank.
  21. I've been reading alot about these scary little creatures however in the last 4 minutes i have spotted over 60 large bristleworms in this tank (im talking some are way over 6inches), I also noticed every time one of my turbos fall and is upside down a bristle worm (one of the large ones) seems to jump all over it. Out of the 20 turbos i had I am down to 5, I've checked my water and the only thing I noticed is my salinty was low (1.020) and did a 10% water change and got it back to normal. I have a small pvc tube w/ holes in it, capped at both ends (i've dropped krill in the tube) and dropped the trap down into the tank. I've been able to get about 20 worms (large ones) out a night for the last week, however is there anything else i can do to get these larger ones to come out? So far my record catch is 14in shrunk up...and I know there is larger ones in the tank. Any suggestions or anyone want to come over and collect some worms :-).
