Yeah, I just need to get my hands on a smaller heater, so I can fit it in my ac70. Should be awesome with all of my zoas growing on it haha.

Updated FTS

I added a custom surface skimmer mod to the ac70 with pvc pipes. It now intakes from the surface and the water column.

I added the stock led light from my evolve 8. I'm using it as a moonlight for now, until I can find a better alternative.
Haven't added any corals since the last update, but once I move back to San Marcos, I'll get right on that!

Yeah I agree, I almost got it but after really considering it I realized it would have been a bad decision.

That zoa is sick! Do you have a colony that you could frag later?

Start with a 40 breeder. Excellent footprint for a tank, and plenty of room for awesome corals. Or a Biocube 29 or 34. Awesome tanks. Start small then work your way up. I'm glad I had my noob screw ups on my 8 gallon. I can't imagine crashing a 100+ gallon tank. Good luck, welcome to arc.

Sorry to hear that you got laid off. I know what it's like to be tight on money, (college student lol). As far as asking for free stuff, that's fine. Just understand that people aren't really going to be willing to pay gas money to deliver things. They shouldn't be mad at you for asking and you shouldn't be upset that they aren't willing to bring it to you on a silver platter. I agree with everyone saying that you should make a build thread. So i was just at the lfs and they have a tiny <1" target mandarin and im incredibly tempted to get him. He is taking frozen mysis and has been there for a couple of weeks. He looks healthy to me. Would he do well in my tank for the foreseeable future? Should be easily fed in my tank.

I just started this tank a week or so ago. It's my second tank, and I'm really excited for it. It's going to be primarily zoas, palys, and acans. I already have some frags from my old tank, and am working on getting some more. I've named it pride rock due to the fact that it reminds me of the rock from the lion king lol
