Yes its a recently added item at Lowe's you can grab a peice of wood (1x4 or 2x4) and drill the same size hole as a guide. But can be done "freestyle" have someone adding water or set up a way to keep they drilling area wet

  2. The Hydraulic Cement is working very well. Here's my first rock structures that i've made.

I found it hard to make much unnatural formations and have the rock stay there long enough to cure and hold. I'm going to try some more risky stuff and see what happens as I go!.

    Great looking pieces!

  3. Looks to me that if you were to 45° the vertical piece it would give you back 50% of the lost space back AND help give light to the coral on the vertical piece. Imo. What are ur plans for the two pieces if you dont use them?

  4. i just spend a couple hrs reading this whole topic and i gotta say it was neat to see the process of over a yr in just those few hrs. i really like the look of a tall tank. specially with the lr set up that way BEAUTIFUL aquascape. i really wish i would have taken more pictures of my progress. but you have motivated me to work on staring a tank build on mine. i gotta say many of you have said on here that this is like a tight knit family and i will agree. and so far you guys have made me feel that. you all are very nice and helpful and have even gone out of your way to help a perfect stranger. you guys are the best!!! reef on brothers and sisters reef on wub.png

  5. If people are willing to Drive down to Martindale you can put me down for a meeting sometime March or later next year. Can combine tank viewing with waterskiing and I have a room big enough to accomodate a bunch of people. Will be a good way for me to meet people in the community too!

  6. i have a two t5 strip with a white and a blue bulb. i wanted my corals to "POP" so i bought a autozone led blue strip and stuck it between my two t5s i had no idea about acclimation. i only use it for two hours in the morning and two in the evening, with the original t5s on their same routine. i havent noticed any visible damage to my coral. am i ok or should i worry and make changes? like i said i did because i wanted my corals to stand out with the blue light but their health is more inportant to me ofcourse. any advise? and also what other colors (LED) can i add to make them stand out? thanks guys
