  3. You'll be good with a variable speed pump. You start with the valve most of the way open. Once you figure out how much water you want to turn over you start closing the valve a tiny bit at a time. Wait about 15 min and adjust again. Once you no long hear the waterfall going into the overflow box you're set.

One thing to think about, the more water you have going into the overflow the more water will be going through the filter socks or whatever you choose for your media. The more water the harder it is to silence that area.

  4. I've got the AP9X on my Waterbox 60.2. It's mounted about 12" above the water. It currently maxes out at 15% since the two clusters are only 7-8" apart. I have no issues with heat. If you put your hand under it once you get about 10" away I didn't feel any heat. I love the light. I'm going to be upgrading the tank to the Waterbox 90.3 so it should work great on it. Current tank is 2ft, new one will be 3 ft. Like Grog said, it's a great light and very clean and sleek looking.

  6. Kessil A360X, mounting arm and wifi dongle - $450. Used about a year. All in great shape. The small set screw on the top of the mounting arm is missing but it doesn't affect anything as long as you don't try to pull the arm apart.

Brand new Aquatic life hybrid fixture with both a kessil bracket and regular bracket for fixtures like a Radion.  2 ATI blue plus and 2 ATI coral plus bulbs (unopened) $200. Only selling because I decide not to use this along with the A360X on my new tank.

Would do $600 for all if interested.

  7. Tank with sump and stand and plumbing. Tank has a couple of small scratches on side panes. Stand has some wear. Overflow only has two drilled holes so I ran the return over the back. I never checked to see if the back pane could be drilled. White residue in the tank is just from the citric acid when I cleaned it. Tank is 23 3/4" x 23 3/4" x 18". Total height is 49".

Made decent progress on the outer stand skin yesterday.  The bottom and top surfaces were painted with Rustoleum Appliance paint to protect against water.  We then installed some plastic mesh to the bottom to provide a littel standoff for any trapped water to evaporate, and ended with a sheet of rubber attached to the stand front and sides that will redirect any water back into the fish room and drain.

Rust-Oleum Specialty 1 qt. Appliance Epoxy Gloss White Interior Enamel Paint

We pre-drilled (2) 3" holes through the top of the stand.  These will be used for the internal overflows and return lines, there won't be any external overflow on the system.

After that we installed a trimmed down piece of 4' x 8' trim board as the skin's initial layer.
