they sell copepods now in bottle to jump start your tank for mandarins now... saw it at petco off Brodie that store has gone a long way and only petco I would ever buy anything from... their head of fish department has degree in marine biology and rest of staff are hobbyist...

Hi Guys! Names JB and well I've been out of reef keeping for I would like to say 5-6 yrs and well alot has not changed alot has.....

One thing I've noticed is that the sand I use to use is no longer around it was a white aragonite sand sold at HD everyone used looked great and was really from ocean very high in calcium... so whats the good cheap replacement around now days??

well what sand do I use? the sand I use to use 5-6 yrs ago it not around any more it was a aragonite sand they use to sell at HD was amazing and everyone was using it...

so what do you think about the live sand that petco sells?? that says it straight from sea.. and should have the Bactria that jump starts the cycle too along with LR right??
