  2. 1. I have had over twenty different jobs.

    2. I have built two model A's and a 55 Chevy Bel air from the ground up.

    3. I'm a Crew Chief on an often winning race team.

    4. I'm a jack of all trades and master of none.

    5. I'm from New Jersey

  3. I have two 96w pc quad bulb retro kits for trade. One has a brand new ballast used a couple days w/ 3 month old bulb I paid $110,the other is a sunpaq ballast and about 4month old bulb paid $100. I would like to trade for some nice colorful SPS frags. If anyone is interested let me know what you could do.

  4. I have some rhodactis to trade.

Is the xenia light or dark pink?

All three you're offering sound interesting. Do you have any pics or can I come see them?

Xenia is a light pinkish color.

  5. Up for trade a 2"x 1" bright orange monti cap (mounted on small rock) ,2 Green Implosion paly rocks with 7 - 10 polyps on each rock. 4 pulsing Xenia rocks with 1 - 5 heads (very pink in color), if interested in any of these let me know what you have to trade.

    Thanks

  6. wait so you fixed it? or was it not a problem and go away?

I think i fixed, it the coral is doing much better. I think I might have shocked the poor guy when I upgraded my Power Compacts to Metal Halide. and from what I have read on reef central it seems to like lower light then most sps.

  7. how far between the bulb and the water, and between the water and the coral? 15" should be plenty. did the coral start acting up before or after the water change? I would guess that it's a water quality issue. I would test your parameters. Are there any anemonies or stinging corals in your tank? As long as the coral isn't dead it will "bounce back" if you fix the problem.

Thanks I think lowering it was the key looks like thats what it needed.

  8. Last night I noticed my ORA Green Birdsnest's ployps were not extended on the top side of the branches. Today I noticed a few spots that looked like it has bleached out a few of the branches. I lowered the coral to the bottom of the tank (about 6"lower) in hopes it would bounce back. Question is this, has anyone had this same experience and what are the chances of it bouncing back? and do you think it might have been caused by being to close to the light source?

  9. I don't have any pictures uploaded, and my Wife took the camera with her to NY. But if you have seen blueboy's from maast he is who I got them from. I only have a couple small heads I can frag off at the time But there in good health and the green is intense. what do you have ?

    thats blue boys colony btw.

  10. Do you have any pics of the Blastos? I might be interested in those and I have plenty of sps to trade.

  11. I have a few corals that I would like to trade for a couple SPS pieces. I recently started another tank and need more stuff to put in it. I have pulsing Xenia (small heads recently attached to rocks), green Paly's (2 rocks w/8 poylps) , yellow skirt Eagle eye zoas (5 polyps) w/ one yellow polyp on same rock, Green birds nest 1.5" (branching) also might be able to frag a couple heads off my green center Blasto Merletti, and maybe a small piece of my orange monti cap. Thats what I have for now. I would like to trade them all off for 2-3 bright colored SPS 1/2" or bigger pieces I would like something bright blue, bright green like a slimmer, purple, or pink, really what ever you would be willing to trade I will give you all mentioned above in trade. Please feel free to pm me if you want to make a deal.

  12. what are your water perameters? I noticed when my KH was low around 7 dkh that stuff grew, try incressing your KH to 9-12 dkh it should clear that stuff up. I use b-ionic or you seachem both work very good.

  13. the tank is 18g w/ one 96w pc quad bulb and one 9w t5 attinic and the polyp is on the bottom of the tank in a shaded area. all my zoas, lps,sps are doing good. water is at 450ca 9kdh and very low nitrate and phosphate. any ideas on why its not opening?

  14. wow, great link! i've been looking for a simple way to dose without adding more equipment. thanks for the link.

No thank you for the blastos I put them both in the tank, they opened right up. looked a little hungry so I fed them and my ricodia cyclop-eeze. I did some reading and darker colored ric's need less light so I moved him and he started looking a little better and opening up, Hope the little guy makes it.

    Thanks Again
