Hey Austin!

We're doing our show, Reef Currents, again! The Houston MASNA club, MARSH, will again host Reef Currents on

Sat February 28th, 2015 at the Sheraton IAH. The inaugural event went spectacularly well, so we're expanding the event for 2015.

We've booked the hotel's ENTIRE Grand Ballroom, ~9,000 square feet for the raffle and vendor area, and nearly 4,000 square feet for our speakers. We hope to have all of our previous national vendors and sponsors. Also, we are aiming for 3 great speakers.

Show is ~9 months away, so I hope to see some ARC members, there.

Oh, as someone who went to both ReefCurrents 2014 and NextWave 2014, it WAS so worth it to do both. I was able to find some great, unique corals and frags at both, and their hear different speakers.

Anyone from here go?

Well, one of our vendors: FJW is bringing a complete line of Sea & Reef clownfish for purchase &

for their own raffle. I don't know how many total clownfish are being raffled off, one or more?

ALSO: Thursday 11:59 pm online sales end for full passes at $35. Otherwise available at the door for $45.

Wouldn't you rather save that money for the raffle? Vendor hall still $15 at the door.

BUT right now, there's already 4 separate aquariums in the raffle:

1. 90 gallon, including stand AND sump,

2. Complete Oceanic 29 gallon biocube includes delivery, set-up AND

$200 livestock credit at Urban Aquatics store

3. Two Aqueon Evolve pico's that include the LED,

Of course, the raffle has everything else, you would need for a set-up,

except maybe livestock, though some vendors may do something about that!

Is anyone here planning to attend the inaugural Reef Currents conference in Houston?

Is hearing John Coppolino (Copps), Matt Pedersen (again), or Bob Fenner,

or visiting the list of vendors not worth it? Many of the vendors will bring items you order to

the event, so you can save on shipping and any shipping losses/mistakes, etc.

Post, so we know how to make next year's event more enticing?

$35 ticket SALES online have been EXTENDED until Thursday Feb 20th at midnight.

Full tickets will be $45 at the door, and the vendor hall is $15, whenever.
