Love the aquascape as well. Looks like it fit like a puzzle.

I love them. You can see the change in color of the rocks from the 1st pic. I'm getting pretty good growth from my coral as well. Only bad thing I have noticed is I had some browning in a couple of my blue/purple sps. It will be interesting to see if it comes back.

Finally got some time to upload some pics of my tank! It is a 20 gallon high with built in filtration from Fishy Business. The pump is a 200 gallon p/hr but I also threw in a small oceanic pump. I am using the Dimmable 60w Cree LED fixture.
This 1st pic is at 2 weeks. I like the minimalist aquascaping, but since I'm not running a refugium I decided to double the amount of live rock for better filtration.
2 1/2 months
Some radioactive dragon eyes I picked up from RCA. Amount of polyps doubled in 3 weeks.
Not exactly sure what type of Acropora this is but I like it. Should it have better polyp extension?
Love this guy! He's been rough on his dorsal fin though. The pistol shrimp is hiding.
Had this guy for a couple weeks. This is about the best extension he's had so far...
Red Monti Digi...Special thanks to RChavez, he's been my main coral supplier! haha

Yea, I had a goby jump out so I bout another one. It wasn't even the same type of goby but it still paired with the shrimp. Took about a week though.

The 60 watt LED is closer to 250 watt HQI but I have it on about 80%. I'm going to reduce the lights from 12 hours to 10 and dim the intensity a little more and see if that helps. It's a 20 high and the LTA is in the bottom left corner.

About 2 weeks ago I got a green ultra long tentacle anemone. Since then, it has not moved at all but shrinks and keeps hidden during the day. At night it seems to expand. I noticed that as soon as my lights come on in the morning it quickly retracts its tentacles one by one. It's in a 20 gallon that has been running for 3 months. I am using 60w cree led lights. It is in low/moderate current in the sand bed. I do not directly feed it, but I do use brine, mysis shrimp and various coral foods. Anyone know if this is normal or why it may not be expanding to it's normal size?

I also have a 20g and went to LED. I did about a month of reserach on lighting and ended up with the 60 watt cree lights. There are big differences in LEDs and I would recommend getting a fixture that uses 3w bulbs instead of 1w. I would say 60w of 3w bulbs would be equivalent to a 100w fixture of 1w bulbs, but I can't test that. Online they say my fixture is equivalent to a 250watt metal halide but i think it is closer to a 150w.

I am using the same light on my 20H, it's a steal for $200. I have to dim mine a little because it's too bright!

BPB'S 90 GALLON SPS DOMINANT
in Tank Builds

I would double check your water test at a LFS. I had a brand new Salifert KH test that was off by 4 points. "Oh you thought your alkalinity was at 8, looks like 4....." Also, your SPS may be competing with the algae for food. At least until you get enough bacteria to lower your nitrates and phosphates.
