  1. sick idea for the tank man! reminds me of the georgia aquarium pacific barrier reef set up.. you have no idea how bad i wanted to hop in that display with some scuba gear when i was on the behind the scenes tour! haha and lucky your finance is supportive of the hobby cause my girlfriend just called me obesessed last night thumbsdown.gif but good luck and cant wait to watch your thread!

  2. haha thanks for that go bama but im still hurtin after our kicker gave the game away to lsu! if you wanna check out tank builds though my brothers and i have a thread, its "75g Reefer x3."

you should definitely check out the trade/free forum too cause you can pick up a lota cool stuff in there and interact with a lot more people.

  3. Welcome! If you're havin a little algae trouble though, a quick fix to try would be "Algaefix Marine." Just make sure it says Marine on the bottle, haha. Good luck with your tank!

  4. I really enjoyed reading about your tank! My mom used to be a teacher back in the day and all she ever had was the class guinea pig haha. But that's no fun to hear about the frog spawn taking out some of your zoas and losing your mushrooms. That's happened to me on more than one occassion but nothing you can do about it. If you'd like some new coral to replace your lost pieces I could always frag some that might add a bit of color to your tank. I have an orange montopora digitata, some bright green zoas, and some dragon eyes too that you could have if you're interested. Just let me know!

  10. like my brother said i stopped by the dome the other day and picked up bout another 15 lbs of live rock. made my set up look a whole lot better and got a couple more archs out of it. now we're both waiting on a 48" reefbrite led each and can't wait to see the incredible shimmer effect!

here are a few more photos my brother didn't have to post on the progression of my switch into the 75G tho.

55G seconds before the breakdown. definitely had a good amount of coraline algae growth on the back glass!!

after the switch the water was a little cloudy! cleared up really fast tho which was nice haha.
