This is pretty much a dead end, I know, but is there any reasonable chance for these fish once they hatch if left in the main tank w/other fish, crabs, etc? I posted another msg in the "free to take" forum, so if you want 'em, let me know. Otherwise, if there's a way to keep 'em going w/o buying another tank, please let me know. thanks.

they've been there for a day or two, and I'm going to be keeping a close watch. I am skeptical of the rock scraping since this also seems to involve fins though. btw, i just re-checked my chemistry: calcium is a tad low in the tank, but everything else is ok.

water's normal (hasn't changed much in the last year) and everyone else in the tank is doing fine. I have more algae than I would like, but I can't see a relation.

fwiw, there's also some discoloration on his fins.

Any suggestions? Its skin does shift colors and patterns as is normal, but some of the smaller spots look to be new and concern me. Its behavior of late has been a little more skittish than usual.

I have a bi-color blennie that's out of his normal routine and is just laying on his side on the gravel. Pretty much normal appearance, but no swimming. suggestions?

I used Binswanger on Burnet. They were quick and cheap.

Forgot to mention the dimensions. 48.5" wide 13.5" deep 21.5" tall these are all exterior dimensions.

I have a 55-gallon tank for sale. It is a plain-jane tank except that is has two (1.5" or 2" diameter I believe) holes drilled in each of the upper corners. The manifolds are installed but could be sold separately. This would make a decent 'fuge or sump tank but is probably too small for a display tank. I can send or add a photo if you're interested. I'd like to get $75, but make me an offer. thanks!
