Firstly, this is not my skimmer! The skimmer belongs to a co-worker. She purchase this used Vertex IN-180 skimmer 6 months ago. I thought it was a little too much for a 65G Tenecor Arylic Tank. Was talking to her today, and she was selling her Aqua-C Remora, which I'm taking..then she mention this Vertex IN-180 that she never set it up. She got 6 kids, husband and a full-time job she say she does not have the time. Most likely, she is giving up the hobby. But for now she is going to sell the Vertex IN-180 for $180 or BO she is on this site, but she does not even have the time to get on. This Skimmer retail for $278.99 Asking...$180 or BO

Yes Metal Halides to high on the electric bill. When I first got into the hobby somewhat 10 yrs ago off and on! My first Metal halides were 400W Hamilton. When I first saw my first electric bill, my wife almos throgh me out the house with the tank...only used MH for a month, and ever since T5..

Have you done the following before droping those 2 damsel fish?

Are you using RO water?

Was the rock cure, what type and where this rock come from?

Have you tested the water?

How long have the tank been cycling? Example: How long has the tank been up and running?

Condition: Excellent, no dents or cracks! The shield is excellent condition and fixture is in perfect working condition.

Bulbs: All bulbs are ATI 39w purchase less than 4 wks ago, can provide reciept of purchase from Premium Aquatics. The 12 bulbs purchase alone cost well over $250.00
