Moving my tank on Thursday and know this is a short notice but I have some frags I would like to get rid of to help out with moving costs.  I can meet up in Austin tomorrow through Thursday but Thursday will be a bit tricky todo.   I live in Georgetown if you would like to swing by and grab them.  Pm for details.

I have 8 frags of Vivids Confetti purchased from Ty.  I meant to only frag one piece I ended dropping it and making  bunch all have been healing for over a week.  I have small ones to large multi-branch ones.  I live in Georgetown but I work in Austin if anyone wants to meet up or if you don't mind the drive your welcome to come over.

  3. In my old tank I had a very hard time keeping Mg above 1100. I fixed it by adding dolomite to my calcium reactor and manually dosing Mg till I got to a level I wanted. The dolomite held my levels and for the last 2 years of that tanks life I didn't have to dose Mg. I don't know what the current philosophy on adding dolomite to reactors is currently but know it worked in the past for me.

    My current tank is much smaller than my old tank and I have had decent luck manually dosing to get it where I want it but will see as things grow out how much dosing I have to do. I also check all newly made saltwater and manually does Mg to it if I get test results lower than expected.

    Lights:

    4-400w MH's with BlueWave ballasts (one is an HQI and the other is a pulse start) bulbs are radiums which are 5 months old I also will be giving some 10k reefluxs that are about the same age as well. They are in the Large Lumenarc reflectors. there is 4 Icecap 660's ballasts that run 4-72" VHO actinics and 8-24" VHO actinics bulbs are right at 7 months old. I built the light rack out of alumnium.

    all pvc is 1/2" black with true union ball valves and unions. Dart has a 2" true union ball valve and a check valve for protection.

    new the above cost more than $12,000 (tank and stand alone are $5,500)

    I'm selling it all for $5300

    without the skimmer: $4400

  6. Ok ready to part with the tank and the rest of my equipment. I have cleaned it and it is ready to go. I used true union ball valves and unions everywhere so taking it apart and putting it back together will be very easy.

    Below is what all is included:

    Tank Details:

    96" x 30" x 25" tall, front is 1/2" low iron glass and the back and side panels are 1/2" standard glass. Made by http://www.acrylicandglassexhibits.com/

    The bottom plate is type sch. 80 pvc with 5 holes counter sunk for the close loop. Then the whole tank is eurobraced using 3/4" acrylic.

    External Overflow 3/8" acrylic black sides clear bottom P.V.C. Type 1 Sch. 80 bottom 1" with holes custom milled to accept hayward hex nut bulkheads.

    Rear panel has been C.N.C. machined to give a weir for overflow.
