My husband bought this for some project in the garage and never used it.  We're moving overseas so EVERYTHING has to go.  Anyone want this?  Could be good for a reactor, pond pump, etc.

Lights are out for the night.  I'll try to get a better pic tomorrow.  They are dark green, not neon; the smaller one is dollar-coin sized, and the larger is the size of a small jar lid.  I sent you a PM - feel free to respond.

About 40-50lbs very nice live rock with sponge and various mushrooms - $3/lb or $120 takes it all.  Please note, this system is lightly stocked but I haven't done a water change in quite some time - this rock would be great for a fairly new system or an LPS/softies tank, but not so much for an established SPS or ultra low nutrient system.

Niko, check out the thread called "Rescue Corals" on Reef Central's LPS forum. There's a set of three dips that the OP of that thread uses on all incoming rescue LPS that seems to work like a charm.

I'm a high school band director in Georgetown. I'm a percussion specialist and teach grades 6-12, so I work at two middle schools in addition to the new high school. It's a lot of work - I start teaching most mornings at 7:30, go straight until nearly 6, no conference period, lunch in the car driving between campuses, events almost every Saturday and at least one evening a week, and I'm working from home during most every "break" - but we have great kids, great parents, and no two days are alike, so the job is never boring! Seeing the kids grow, progress, buckle down and master new things... well, there's nothing like it.

The Hanna tester only displays in one unit, but the tester comes with instructions on how to convert from ppm to DKH (multiply by .056, if I recall correctly...).

Is it just me or is the search function not working? I just tried a few really generic terms like 'LED' and got no results.

When I first got in my boyfriend challenged me not to pay full price for anything because there are so many good deals to be had on all the various forums. And to date I've bought every one of my tanks as well as all the accessories (skimmer, fuge light, media racks, etc.) used thanks to fellow hobbyists here, MAAST, DFWMAS, and Nano-Reef. I think the only stuff I've ever paid full price for are fish, frozen food, supplements, and one or two "have to have" corals.

A lot of the little stuff is most cheaply found at the Dollar Store - Super Glue Gel 3/$1, cheap tupperware, turkey basters, etc.

Hmmm... I may have to try that... my dad could draw just about anything with pancake batter (numbers and Disney characters were faves) and I've always felt a bit of a failure that I'm not quite as gifted.
