  1. Don't know anything about the first two, but the third looks like a AquaC Remora rip off. I've got a Remora Pro on my 55g ( a little overkill) and it works great. Very quiet. Much better than the Skilter 250 I had before. It was extremely loud.

  2. Yet they're so nice on TV/Movies! So I stuck my hand in my tank to see what mine would do. I've got a 1" and 2" false p. and they both coward, even when I put it next to their BTA (Boobie Tipped A) as my wife calls it.

  3. Fire shrimp died last night. Found an emerald crab finishing it off. I had it for about 6 months. Did notice over the last month thought the red of it's body had gotten darker. Do you think it died of old age, got something else? I checked my water parameters and they were good.

  4. Thanks for the help. I removed the snail to be on the safe side. It was eating at the coral. The brown "tree" and the animal behind it are actually the same thing. It extends up and down periodically through the day. It also moves around the aquarium. Since posting this picture it has moved over to the other side of the rock it was on. So, since it's one animal, are you leaning toward a Kenya tree or anemonie? Thanks, Nathan.

  5. I've got this tree looking thing that moves around my tank and I don't know what it is. Doesn't seem to do any harm. I notice that I am starting to get a few very small ones around the tank also. Should I keep it? I've also got a snail that likes to stick to my green star polyps. It's actually a white snail but has a brown spotted membrane that goes around it's shell when it's not retracted. I think it's eating the purple stuff on my star polyp rock. Should it go? Also, when a shrimp molts, do you take out the old shell? Thanks, Nathan. 016.JPG

  6. I have a fire shrimp that molted about four days ago. But I just noticed that three of it's legs on one side have fallen off. Will they regrow and should I do anything to help it regrow these limbs? Thanks, Nathan

  7. What's a good sand sifting fish for a small 20g aquarium? I"m getting brown algae in my live sand and would like to get something to take care of it. I've got turbo and bumblebee snails and they just ignore it. I've got three hermit crabs but they mostly stay on the live rock. Thanks, Nathan

  8. How much algae do I need to have in my new aquarium before I can add some herbivores? I'd like to add a couple of emerald crabs and some hermit crabs. Maybe some snails too.
