Thanks for the good info here! I'm new at this and would really prefer to stay away from additive products and keep the water as pure as possible. Any tips or links are much appreciated! One thing that bothers me sometimes about researching is that everyone has something to sell, and it's often hard to get an honest opinion of what works well, so I tend to stay away from most of them. I may not be able to so much when I add more corals though, so I want to plan on modifications I may need in advance.

Recommendations on a good phosphate reactor for a 120gal?

I'm new to the hobby. I bought a tank that was somewhat established, FOWLR, and had it moved about two weeks ago. The original owner did not really maintain it that well and I am just getting my parameters to stabilize a bit after the move. I am planning on letting the tank settle for probably 6 more weeks or so before I add anything. I was just wondering if anyone could recommend some good books in the meantime. Something extremely comprehensive would be ideal. Also I am interested in getting into SPS down the road so any good recommendations on SPS specific books would be appreciated as well. Thanks!

Already some good information here, thanks! I have an unidentified crab that must have hitched with some live rock. He is brown, larger and rounder than an emerald, with redish eyes. Any guesses as to what it is? I can try to take a picture but he hides in his hole most of the time.
