Andrew's Blog > From: Green Bubble Coral

Posted 09 February 2010

I'd like to sell a frag of my bright green bubble coral.

It is fully healed up and slightly smaller than a baseball when fully expanded.

$30

Andrew's Blog > How I Fragged My Bubble Coral

Posted 26 January 2010

Well my bubble coral was getting huge! I'm talking the size of a basketball, and in a small 34 gallon aquarium, that is just not cool. I have thought about fragging this coral for some time, but never knew exactly how I might approach it. With all the fleshy part it seems like it would be a bit more work than say breaking a sps coral. I...

Andrew's Blog > Halloween

Posted 25 January 2010

Have not added anything to my tank in a while. At the meeting on Saturday, I picked up this halloween hermit from Laura, aka Mama, aka Rockin' Reefs. It's pretty cool, but somewhat clumsy.

Andrew's Blog > Clownfish Set Backs

Posted 05 September 2009

Just wanted to write an update about some of my recent set backs.

Firstly, my phyto culture was doing great! It turned a very dark green and was doing good until after the first split. A week after the split it crashed. This seems to be a theme for anyone who has started a culture from DT's. I need to go back to square one and order some...

Picked up these panda gobies last night. They are wicked cool!

Also caught a rare shot of a spikefin. I see them both regularly, but they are hard to photograph. My big black camera seems to scare them away.
Crummy pic I know.

Hey Travis! Glad you joined. You should check out all our sponsors. They are the best stores in Austin. You should def make the transition to saltwater.

Hey Andrew. Travis Pollard here. I'm thinking about starting an aquarium. I had a 29 gallon for a while a few years back. It had live plants and the biggest, happiest goldfish in the world.
I was planning on going freshwater, but I'm intrigued by saltwater. Any advice? What are some good stores in the area?
Let's play some disc golf sometime.
