I was wondering what corals out there did well and seemed to have survived the cold. Might be useful for future reference. If possible list by genus, species, variety and temperature or any other data you have. I have 2 that I know of. These are ones I sold a while back and were in someone else's tank. lithophyllon undulatum was in 58-59° for a few days Turbinaria peltata in that same tank. 58-59°

Welcome to the club. It's not nearly as active in here as it used to be, unfortunately. But there's still a ton of great info around on the site. I also have a 150 gal display and approx 40 gal sump. I've been really happy with it! What dimensions is yours? Please share all the reefing pics!

That's always a bummer! I'm no expert in frogspawn and this is usually what happens to mine after a few months or sometimes years. I would be tempted to frag off the healthy heads and do an iodine dip. I've had really good luck with that in the past.

Welcome to the club! What have you done so far with your tank? What are your plans for it?

Things are going so well! I'm past the algae phase of adding the new lights and now I have more spots for coral. All the corals that lost color are looking great again and I'm starting to see some growth. For the past several weeks the sandbed is staying clean and my phosphates are under control for the first time in the life of this tank. Here are the pictures! I did have to wake the tank up to get pictures without glare, so some corals aren't open all the way. You know how they do. Blues first then whites:

A little while ago I decided to try adding to my lighting. I've had the idea floating around for a few years and finally decided to give it a try. I picked up a used 4' T5/led hybrid fixture in excellent shape. I'm still using the kessils down the middle, in between the 2 T5 fixtures. It added light to the front and back of the tank, obviously, but it also added a lot of light to the ends of the tank, which is what I was after. Lights in the old fixture were only about 2 feet apart so the ends were really dark. Right now I'm dealing with the gunk that goes along with light hitting new parts of the rock. Not enjoying this stage but I know it'll clear up eventually and now I have space for more coral! Here are some pictures with the top down viewer: This setosa has a strange growth pattern. I assume it's due to the coral growing on the side of it. I've tried to frag it off but it came back.
